BZPB - Malignant Empty BZPB - Malignant

Post by Niflheim Thu Nov 05, 2015 7:10 am

This is going to be a test for the new format for the RPG we might be doing. In this, your character only interact in the small set of the universe this is in. You can bring in already made characters from BZPB here, I don't give a heck.

Rules:

1. No godmodding(Being able to win and do anything with no effort, never dying, etc.)

2. Don't kill off other players' characters unless you roll dubs.

----------------------------------

At the edges of the universe, there was something spreading. World by world were falling to a disease that ate the world, fungi that rotted away at life, and processed it into fumes of spores. Even fire and nuclear weapons couldn't stop this, it would only develop stronger, more resilient spores and fungi.

The only known source was what we now dub "The Black Cloud." The timing was almost perfect: Most of the universe was getting disturbed by the mad time-travelling wizard, Mazkertis. Whoever, or whatever created this Black Cloud, and was spreading rot, could not pick a better time. To start at the edge of the universe, on the side without the Stouttish Islands, or Knights of Keruvim, well, it was just perfect.

Of course, some people did care about this. They couldn't hope to fight Mazkertis, with his powers, or any of his allies. The Edge Systems now put a S.O.S out for anyone to help with this. Barricades were put up on the infected worlds to prevent anyone from entering, in fear of spreading the spores.

Victims of the disease slowly rot away, but a rapid exposure to spores accelerates the process to be almost instantaneous. Signs of the disease are:
-Rapid loss in color of the skin, either white or black
-Rapid loss of weight
-Strong, rancid odor coming the joints
-Suicidal thoughts

Later stages of the disease are noted by:
-Fungus growing on the body
-Mists coming out from pores to spread spores
-Bones growing to be out of the body
-Decomposing flesh
-Red or Orange eyes with black sclera

In the final stages of the disease, victims are stripped of most of their flesh, with the fungus covering bone structures and emitting a constant mist of spores. They will do anything to infect others at this stage, including suicidal attacks, or eating others more easily infect them with their blood.

The disease is being called "Ghoul," right now, in reference to the infected appearances resembling gangly ghouls. Others call it the Fungal Rot, Zombies, or any other undead related words. Some individuals have an immunity to it, for unknown reasons.

Affiliations:
Abilities:
Equipment:
Relations(if relevant):

Clarifications:
Affiliations means what factions, people, or groups they have some loyalty or relevance too.
Relations is family, friends, and enemies that might be relevant.
Abilities can include supernatural powers or talents.

I am also only going to make characters in response to others, basically NPCs. There are several space stations around the infected planets, and The Black Cloud is slow enough to observe and see where it's moving to respond. My recommendation is to just start as someone going to the area to investigate, or took a contract to help. Or maybe they just have a deathwish.

Name and Aliases: Tayne
Species: Mosquito Men, as they are called by most people.
Appearance: Tayne is tall, tan, and slender. He has multiple appendages, using two of them as legs to stand up like a human and the rest as arms. His face and body are much like that of a mosquito, with clear, veinous wings protruding out of his thorax and a proboscis-like structure in the place of what a humanoid would term a "nose". His eyes, however, are golden and reptilian in nature.
Personality: Tayne is cautious when in danger, but has a high level of curiosity. His engineering background, as well as his taste for intergalactic adventure, are both manifestations of said intrigue. That said, he will avoid direct confrontations when necessary, and often over-think situations due to a sense of paranoia.
Affiliations: His own crew.
Abilities: Tayne is able to fly and use his proboscis as a weapon, but is also a great shot with a laser blaster. He often tinkers with several gadgets, making him a potent gadget man as well as a bane of enemy machines.
Equipment: A blaster pistol, a pair of blue tinted leather vintage goggles tied around his head, and a light blue satchel.
Relations(if relevant): Crikey Shqwertiyul (fellow crew member). Parents are dead, and his caretaker is somewhere on Malchior III.

Name and Aliases: Crikey Shqwertiyul
Species: Tuvar'nloq.
Appearance: Crikey is mostly green skinned with yellow spots spread throughout his body. His head is dome-shaped with two ear holes (similar to those of a frog) attached to a small appendages attached to the sides of his head. Crikey usually wears a black jumpsuit with a purple belt carrying various tools.
Personality: Crikey is gruff and deceitful, often looking for ways to con people out of their money. That said, he is kind and protective to those he allows into his inner circle.
Affiliations: Tayne's Crew.
Abilities: Crikey has intense persuasion powers, and also has the uncanny ability of quickly angering people when he wants to. Additionally, he is quite talented with rifles and knives.
Equipment: A lot of weapons. A lot.
Relations(if relevant): Tanye (fellow crew member).

He looks slightly older than he is due to years of getting his shit fucked up, but is remarkably physically fit for his age, due to constantly having to run away from various threats and attorneys wanting to squeeze more money out of him.
Personality: Fraser is depressed and sporadically bursts out into crying fits. Despite his misery, he still cares about his fellow man, and will help those in need so they don't become like him.
Affiliations: Fraser's best friend is his dentist, Dr. Gino. Gino is somewhat wealthy and sometimes buys clothes and food for Fraser.

Equipment: A backpack with a sleeping bag and a cellphone with charger.
Relations(if relevant): An ex-wife and 3 kids

Lightning struck the surface of Oquro, a small and seemingly lifeless backwater planet. Rocky cliffs covered the landscape as far as the eye could see. On the top of one of these cliffs, a bright blue portal flashed into existence, illuminating the surrounding area. Someone stumbled out of it and collapsed onto the ground, about a foot from the edge of the cliff. When he turned back to face the portal, its light fell on his face and his features could be clearly seen.

The vast majority of people in the universe had no idea who this man was, and certainly nobody on Oquro, but among film collectors on Earth the man was known as Brendan Fraser. Fraser's career in the film industry was far behind him now, but not by choice. His ex-wife had manipulated the American judicial system to force him to pay alimony money he didn't have. He had lost his home, his friends, even custody of his kids. Fraser's friend Gino tried to help him by giving him a free haircut, but it just made Fraser's depression worse. Having nothing on Earth left to lose, Fraser decided to call in a favour at Gentech, a technology organization that specialized in portal technology. Fraser demanded its CEO to send him to a random planet suitable for human life for him to live on, as far away from his ex-wife's lawyers as possible. Gentech's CEO obliged, and Fraser was sent through with a backpack containing a sleeping bag, two weeks worth of food, and other essential supplies.

Fraser wiped the tears out of his eyes and looked up to the sky. There appeared to be some kind of gigantic black cloud absorbing the planet's natural grey clouds, which were the ones causing lightning strikes. Fraser could see that the black cloud was causing something else: what looked like pods fell from the cloud on the horizon.

His curiosity got the better of him and he began a journey towards where these pods had landed, with no idea of the mortal danger he was about to face.

The black pods that fell from the sky were black in appearance, excreting a brown-green slime around it. The texture was mushy and swollen, like an infected bladder, ready to explode from the toxins. Like a pus-filled wart, any pressure would make these sacs of spore explode on the pods.

That's exactly what was going to happen, too. Each of these pods had a time-triggered device inside that applied a gas that made the sacs explode. The clock was ticking down, and pods in the clear back already began bursting open. The spores spread through the air like a green-hued smog, heavy in other pollutants than just the disease. The rancid, rotten smell began to reek in the area, a smell of death.

As Oquro was already evacuated, the spores had almost nothing to infect. The riff-raff decomposers at the bottom of the food chain were not affected, and the insects who gnawed at the roots of plants continued, unharmed(for the moment).
Then there was Brendan Fraser, walking so aimlessly to a cruel death that he had no idea of. To be infected by this disease would be a miserable end, but to the man who's shit is so fucked up, it would be an escape to the prison of his life.

Then Fraser heard the screams. The sounds of the stragglers, the ones who refused to leave, as the spores went down their system. They were already infected from earlier ones, but now these new spores triggered a gruesome transformation. Their flesh began to fell off, their eyes fading to red, and sclera turning black. Fungus began growing on their remains, a gangly-green with fluorescent orange. These beings wandered in their misery, unsure of what to do, or where to go. Some began ravaging each other. Fraser walked on and on, towards the pods.

Character Sheet

---

On the outskirts of the settlement, a special forces soldier was crawling through the undergrowth. Wearing a sneaking suit equipped with a flickering active camo system, and a full face helmet that protected them from the airborne toxins, they were practically invisible to the few ghouls  wandering the outskirts of the city. As they closed in on the settlement, they stood up, crouching on the edge of a small cliff overlooking the city.  Pulling off their helmet, her thick red hair rolled out over their shoulders. Lucy fastened the helmet to her belt, and drew up a pair of binoculars, inspecting the city.

"Are you seeing this, scrub?" she exclaimed, as she caught sight of a disfigured, shambling being slumping towards the pods that had recently landed. Her radio flickered into life.

"Lucy, that's Brendan Fraser." replied Eva, annoyedly. "He's extremely dangerous, and is wanted by numerous authorities throughout the galaxy for various economic crimes."

"Ngeh-! A dangerous criminal?" replied Lucy, shocked. She clipped her binoculars back onto her belt, and readied her pistol, screwing a silencer over the end of the barrel. She slid over the edge of the cliff, landing safely below, and began to close in on the settlement.

"There's a huge bounty on his head, Lucy. Capturing him would generate a lot of funds for our little organization. But that's just an optional objective. Your mission here is to extract Professor Tupp before his research facility is overrun with ghouls."

Lucy ran up against a wall, hiding behind it with her weapon drawn. She peered round the corner. She could see some of the ghouls wandering the streets, their flesh falling off in clumps to join the biological sediment lining the floor of the area.

"Professor Tupp, eh?"

"That's right, Lucy. He's a Lurian scientist who was working on a prototype bipedal weapon for Gabrie- err, my father, himself - but now he's had a change of heart, and wants to defect to the New Order. If we get him out, we get the Lurian's new weapon, and deprive them of a valuable asset."

Lucy slid out of cover, crossing the street. Her stealth suit kept her from being detected as she crossed the road, climbing up an escape ladder to the roof of a small building.

"Is that the building?" she said, focusing on a circular building embedded in the side of a nearby cliff.

"That's it. TechnoDyne Industries - though it's just a front for the Lurian's illegal Dark Works protoyping division. Professor Tupp will be in there - but there'll be a whole division of War Tans protecting him. They'll have settled in to defend the building against the ghoul outbreak, so you'll have to sneak in."

"Roger that." she replied, jumping off the edge of the building. She landed in a pool of thick mud covering the entire road, though it wasn't mud at all. She gagged, yet stood up, continuing with her mission. Fucking Sefer, she thought. Sticking me with the shit jobs whilst she pisses around drinking coffee. As she closed in on the building, many ghouls became aware of her presence, but they could barely move through the knee-high, swamp-like pool of biological debris that had gathered in the lower parts of the settlement.

Suddenly, something caught hold of her ankle, pulling her into the "water" below. She yelped, turning as she fell and blindly spraying with her pistol into the water beneath her; a shot connected and the enraged target burst out of the water, looming over her as she fell. The being had been some huge, mosquito-esque humanoid before it had become one of the undead hordes, and as she splashed down into the murky pool it speared her through the chest with its proboscis. This caused her to cry out in pain, which proved a mistake as the "water" she was currently submerged in flooded into her mouth. She emptied her pistol into the ghoul, to no avail; its vital systems had already decayed and yet it was still moving, so there was little she could do to stop it. In addition, as it was now pinning her to the ground, the other ghouls were closing in. She reached for her second pistol, this time shooting out the creature's neck, cutting its head off and breaking its proboscis off in the process. She slid out from underneath it, pulling the proboscis out of her chest as she knelt over, spewing her guts out into the pool below. Looks like it's gonna be one of those days, she thought, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, as the horde of ghouls closed in around her. Holding out one hand, she materialized her katana, nervously settling into a stance with it.

Tayne leaped down from his ship into a cliff, surveying the area. He was clad in a special Plague suit that, although ancient, was effective in combating "The Black Cloud." He had purchased it off of a mysterious and eccentric clockmaker he met on an off-world trader station who simply said that the suit was 'not the paladin's poetry.' Crikey Shqwertiyul, who was accompanying Tayne, wore a hazmat suit of his own that would also protect him against the Cloud. The clockmaker said something about 'Haha Just Saying' and 'energies' that would protect them for the time being, as long as they wore the suits.

Tayne and Crikey were not there to have a biological exploration of the mysterious ailment spreading through the Edge Systems. They were only interested in getting that bounty that was on Brendan Fraser. It would help them repair their ship and get the hell out of these systems and back to their home galaxy.

Tayne: "There he is, 'pparently he's messing around with some pods."

Crikey: "Alright, jetpacks will get us there in no time."

Tayne: "I think it's best we stay back. What if those pods infect us?"

Crikey: "Really Tayne? Really? We're protected! We just can't let him die, of course since there's a bonus."

Tayne: "He's also a great actor. You sure you want this bounty?"

Crikey: "Don't make me regret it and just go."

They both flew towards Brendan Fraser and landed behind him.

Tayne: "Stop right there, hands up!"

In the system of Oquro, a ship was entering the system relatively fast. The pilot had heard about the Black Cloud problem, and was instructed by his employer to drop somebody off to help. Oquro was at the forefront of the Black Cloud, slowly being infected but already evacuated. The people on the planet still were suicidal, curious, or other ulterior motives. A small research station had been set-up, with no reports back yet to T.E.S, or other third-parties.

The ship entered the black atmosphere of Oquro, a world that only received 5% of sunlight. The world was already quite black for a "black" cloud to take over. The strong atmosphere actually halted the spread of spores from moving around aimlessly. Instead, the ghouls would wait in waterholes to grab victims.

The pilot then stopped the ship over the convenient group of Brendan Fraser, Tayne, and Crikey. The pilot had curly black hair, and was wearing sunglasses, and had a vaporizer. He then gave a thumbs-up to the 30 foot tall monstrosity, clad in black armor. One of the monster's three arms raised and gave a thumbs-up back. The pilot emitted some vape from his vaporizer, then smashed a button on the control panel to open the floor below the monster. The giant then landed in front of Brendan Fraser. Fraser was quite surprised and scared of what he just saw. Is this a demon?

The monster was around 30 feet tall, clad in slick, black armor, for maximum smoothness. It had three legs, and six arms, perpendicular to the legs, with two towards each leg. The hands were like some strange combination of a tentacle and plant, with 3 "fingers," that closed together to from some type of spike-fist. On the top of it's body was 3 eye holes, emitting a magenta light. It is unknown what the cone top was. The being was clearly trilateral in symmetry.

All of the spore pods ahead of them were starting to break. The monster, clearly the same species as the infamous assassin "Flesh-Eater," a Trilagon. Began to stomp towards the pods. It's arms flayed to crush the pods, letting out a cloud of spores from their destruction. The forearm armor of the creature then opened up, revealing some strange, indigo colored lights. The lights winded-up, then shot out charges of chain-lightning to disintegrate the spores. As some ghouls were treading the grounds, going up to the alien, it tore them apart with no effort. The gauntlets' emitting an electrical chain made sure the ghouls stayed dead, as it ceased the electrical signals being transmitted by the fungi to move the bodies.

Behind the alien, Brendan Fraser was in shock. The creature was staring at Fraser and the ghouls at the same time, due to it's 360º vision. the arm pointing towards Fraser opened up, waving as a greeting. Fraser had no comment. Tayne and Crikey were really just in shock of what this giant alien just did to everything around them.

Post by Malygos Mon Nov 09, 2015 10:18 pm

"We're in, Lady Thorne." From above the surface of Oquro, a trasmission read from a small ship, a cloaking device hiding it from view and from detection - for whatever its reason, this ship was attempting to be covert.

"I've told you before, Ophelia, you don't need to use my last name on missions." From the ship's monitor, Cassandra Thorne sighed. "Besides, you're under cloak - it is not as if someone could be eavesdropping."

Ophelia bowed her head in apology. "My apologies. Regardless, we were merely sending this transmission to inform you that we have arrived."

Cassandra's blood-red lips curled upward into an impish, smug grin. "Very good, my dear. In that case, make haste - we must procure the bioweapon before any of our enemies can." What she left unsaid, all knew. Cassandra Thorne, the Red Queen, would stop at nothing to gain greater influence and power - and unleashing an airborne plague of undeath on a population did not even cause her to bat an eye.

Ophelia nodded, her expression softening from its determined frown. "Cass, are you certain..."

"Yes, Ophelia?"

When the vampire looked into Cassandra's azure eyes, her face fell. She wanted to object, certainly, but... "Nothing, my love. I will procure the disease for you."

"How delightful! Send me another transmission when you have." And with that, Cassandra's face vanished from the screen, leaving only Ophelia Valentine and the two scientists sent to study the smoke.

Ophelia sighed, steeling herself. She could not fail Cassandra. Such an action was utterly unthinkable to her. "I will be going down alone, for now - the two of you stay aboard the ship." She didn't say the rest, while she got into her black exo-suit - that while she was to collect the smoke, she did not have to let everyone there die from it.

Ophelia vanished in a flash of red light, before reappearing on the surface. About a second later, she ducked under a lunging ghoul, her heat pistol already cooling down as the thing fell to the ground, a massive hole blasted in its chest. Well, at least they weren't wasting any time. She ran forth, thanking her vampiric condition for her unnatural swiftness and inability to tire, blasting apart any zombie to get too close to her.

Fairly soon, she had made it to a building - marked by TechnoDyne Industries across it. Inside, she saw a woman - unequipped with any sort of insulation, a simple katana to face a horde of diseased ghouls. A survivor. Ophelia immediately burst through the door, a few well-placed shots taking out the ghouls nearly upon the woman. "Are you alright?" she asked.

Crikey: "Who the heck is that?!"

Tayne: "I think I've heard of his kind before. Trilagons! I thought they were a myth. This is incredible!"

Tayne's curiosity got the better of him, and he waved at the 30 foot tall monster.

Crikey: "Cool, remember we have to get the bounty."

Tayne: "Oh, right. Sorry, Trilagon friend. Please stand aside and allow me to take Mr. Fraser here for an autograph signing..."

Crikey: "And to collect a bounty."

Tayne: "And to collect a bounty. Thanks for killing these pods by the way. Any idea where this stuff is coming from?"

Lucy turned her head away defiantly, sheathing her katana.

"I'm fine, scrub. Never better." she replied, pulling one of her gloves off and inspecting the bare hand underneath. "I could've taken them, y'know, so - don't go thinking you saved me or anything."

She pulled her hand into a thumbs-up gesture, before jamming it into the wound just bellow her collarbone. She winced in pain as a golden energy suffused her arm, burning away at the spores which lined the interior of her wound and prevented it from regenerating. When she finished this, all that was left was a rapidly-closing, smoking wound on her chest. She sighed with relief.

"...So, uh, what's someone like you doing in a backwater like this, anyway?"

BZPB - Malignant Empty Re: BZPB - Malignant

Post by Kon Tue Nov 10, 2015 9:25 pm

Fraser instinctively screamed and crawled backwards against a rock, shielding himself with his arms. He had expected that he would get his shit fucked up by various horrific aliens, but his mind could never imagine something like a Trilagon without first seeing one. Fraser was too busy formulating a way to escape to listen to what the aliens were actually saying in their unfamiliar accents. As soon as the alien dressed as a 14th-century plague doctor turned back towards Fraser, Fraser decided to take his chances alone, and ran in the other direction.

Unfortunately, Fraser didn't get far before the ground collapsed beneath his feet and he plunged into blackness. There was a loud splash and a groan as Fraser hit a deep pool of viscous liquid. When his feet reached the bottom of the pool, he was already up to his chest in the liquid, with his black coat stained blacker.

Fraser reached into his pocket and pressed a button on his phone, which thankfully illuminated part of the area. There was nothing but rocky walls around him, and the black liquid below. Fraser was about to breathe a sigh of relief, but then he was struck with a terrifying thought. The groan he heard when he fell into the cave did not come from his own mouth.

The washed-up actor pivoted around and shone the light of his phone over the other side of the cave. Something burst out of the pool in front of him, splashing liquid over his face. Fraser spluttered and quickly wiped it off before backing away. When the light fell on what had caused the splash, he saw a rotting, humanoid skull with three eye sockets. The two left eyes had either rotted away or been gouged out, but the third was still present, coloured red with a bright yellow iris.

Suddenly, the eye swivelled round to focus on Fraser, and the body it belonged to came to life. Fraser screamed as the ghoul shambled towards him, its skeletal arm outstretched. At that moment, Fraser's life flashed before his eyes - he saw his first birthday, his graduation, filming The Mummy, the birth of his children, and sharing a joke with his barber/dentist Gino. As much as Brendan wanted the pain of his life as it was now to end, he knew that he didn't want to go being slowly gnawed on by a diseased, alien zombie. He wanted to go quickly and peacefully, and in this cave with this preserving liquid, he had a feeling that that wouldn't happen.

As if reading Fraser's thoughts, the ghoul stopped. With its remaining facial muscles, it gave a confused look at its arm, which was rapidly deteriorating in front of it. Within seconds, the ghoul's arm had turned to dust. The ghoul writhed and vomited spores as its life came to an end. Fraser vomited himself when he saw what was left of the ghoul collapse and disintegrate, but he was thankful for it.

"Did I... JUST do that?" Fraser thought as he began to climb out of the cave. It was no coincidence that the ghoul had died seconds after he willed it to.

This incident reminded Fraser of something that happened several years ago, at Dr. Gino's JFMSU Headquarters. He had sat down with his friendship group, which consisted of several other career men stricken by bad luck. When one of them, Harold, was asked how he was learning to deal with being JUSTed, Harold replied that he had learned how to hide the pain, then unleash it on others when the need arose.

"Maybe that's what JUST happened to me..." Brendan thought as his pale lips curled into a sinister smile. "Those aliens won't know what hit them."

Tayne: "Oh snap! He fell!"

Crikey: "Hey, Trilagon. Can't you use some kind of wing-like mechanism to save him? We'll split the bounty, evenly and fairly, 50-40-10."

The face on the monster's face said everything, as it did not need to speak to express its disappointment in Crikey attempting to haggle. "F### no and f### u," it seemed to say in response to the deal. But as for it's answer regarding the safety of Brendan, well, that remained to be seen.

Suddenly, the ground burst beneath Crikey's feet, and he too fell near Mr. Fraser. He looked around, and noticed a ghoul glaring, its rotting flesh surrounding its devilish grin. The gangly, fungus-ridden creature nimbly snaked its way to Shqwetiyul, and laughed. It could speak!

???: "By the way, you and I are brothers!"

Crikey, being an astute negotiator and scoundrel, was able to pick up on the fact that the ghoul was attempting to deceive him. It certainly was a creature of his species, or at least used to be, but it lying about their fraternal relationship. Perhaps it was a reference as to how they would soon be brothers in infection, but Crikey did not have the time to find out. He pulled out a Mane Inc. Portable Flamethrower (now in stores™) and fired it at the ghoul.

Ophelia nodded. "Good..." She adjusted the view of her exo-suit...No contaminant. Good. She would hate to have to eliminate the woman she'd just attempted to save. She holstered her gun. "Ophelia. Ophelia Valentine - I'm here for..." She paused. "Research. Some benefactors of mine wish for me to get a sample of the mist back to them for chemical analysis." Well, it wasn't a total lie, at least. "You really should evacuate. This place isn't safe."

Lucy frowned in annoyance, folding her arms. And here was me thinking this sorta shit died with Vincent.

"I can handle myself, scrub. I'd be more concerned about the pretty little researcher girl who'd be dead by now if they weren't wearing... well, whatever that is." she said, pointing disapprovingly to Ophelia's entirely non-revealing exo-suit. "Anyway, I didn't come here for the sightseeing, scrub. I'm on a mission." she said, raising her pistol to head-height dramatically. "So if you'll excuse me..."

After climbing out of the swamp, Lucy made her way to the TechnoDyne building. The front foyer - designed to give the impression of a modern tech firm - was completely deserted and destroyed, but she could see that a facade behind the receptionist desk had been blown away to reveal a heavy, fortified door leading to the inner workings of the building. She was surprised to find it was slightly ajar, but pulled it open anyways. Instead of the dozens of rifle-toting War Tans she was expecting behind it, she found a long, dark, empty corridor leading deeper into the compoud. Activating the flashlight on her pistol, she made her way down it, beads of sweat rolling down her forehead. The smell was horrendous - even worse than outside. Something had died inside the building, and in the confined space, the maleficent odours had not had a change to dissipate. Lucy pulled her scarf up and over the lower half of her face, partially shielding her from it.

After a turn in the corridor, Lucy found the source of the smell. The War Tans had indeed foritified their position, with rows of sandbags, mounted turrets and reels of barbed wire, but it had been to no advantage. No living thing existed within the main hall of the compound, save for the fungi growing on the decomposing bodies of the fallen garrison. As Lucy passed through, she even more ill than she had when the ghouls had attacked her previously. But fortunately, the dead bodies here would not rise again as ghouls. Each one was missing its head; this had been the cause of death for each one.

But whatever had removed their heads had not come from outside the building. The War Tans had been facing the rear of the hall when they fell. Something had broken out.

Lucy crept further in, finding a doorway at the other end of the hall. The doors there had been blown open, their shattered fragments literring the floor infront of it. Lucy pressed on. Another corridor led to the laboratory; it was there, that she finally found Professor Tupp.

He was laying at the foot of a shattered cryotank, covered in the green substance which previously filled it, and with a large wound across his chest. He was still breathing, but only just. Quickly checking her surroundings for whatever had done this, Lucy ran to Professor Tupp, kneeling by him. He looked up at her, his eyes widening.

"Lu... Lucy...?" he said, his brow furrowing. "Of course. It all makes sense now..."

"Hold on, Professor Tupp. Sefer sent me here to rescue you."

"No..." he said, weakly. "Sefer sent you here... to clean up."

Lucy was shocked by what Professor Tupp said.

"To clean up what, exactly?"

"Didn't you see its handiwork on the way in...?"

"The Ghoul plague?"

"No." he said, faintly. "We had barricaded ourselves in the compound when news of the first infections surfaced. Eventually, we lost radio contact with the outside world. A few weeks after that, our covert supply ships stopped arriving. We..." he stopped halfway through his sentence, gesturing to the green, goopy substance covering his body. "...We ran out. This substance - pure coolant. It was originally designed as a last-ditch protection against nuclear meltdowns, but we found it was all too practical for our uses."

"As a restraint?"

He nodded. "And now... that thing we were restraining... has escaped. Lucy... you have to stop it. The ghouls of this world will only sustain it for so long. After that, it'll move on to new foodsources... and new worlds."

"No, I need to get you out of here. I can take care of it later."

"okay btw me and suddenly dying are brothers." he said and died.

Lucy frowned, walking away. As she exited the building, she no longer felt fear, but anger, so she picked up some guns laying on the floor - an assault rifle and a shotgun - as well as some ammunition and grenades. She pulled her sneaking suit off - luckily, she was wearing her usual outfit underneath - and strapped the guns and grenades to her body. She stepped outside, observing the hellscape. The creature was out there somewhere, feasting on the dead, just like Yoko Ono, and Lucy just fucking hated that. But she wanted a sidekick.

"SCRUBPHELIA!" she roared, throwing an assault rifle at Ophelia's head (she had inexplicably not moved in the time Lucy had taken to inspect the building). "You're right, this place isn't safe. It's not safe at all." she said, racking the pump on her shotgun dramatically. "So, let's fix that." she added, grinning.

In what appeared to be the sewers of the planet, Fraser, Crikey, and Tayne were fighting off some humanoids ghouls. Above, the Trilagon peered into the hole that Fraser managed to make. "His ability to fuck everyone's shit up should not be underestimated..." thought the alien. It decided to dive into the pit to save the trio.
Crikey incinerated the ghouls that were hiding in the waters. Luckily, since these were ghouls living in the sewers, they did not have fire resistant skin.

Tayne was not doing much, warding off the slippery ghouls attempting to get between him and his prize: Brendan Fraser, still shellshocked in fear from what could possibly be his power.

"Just...' Brendan thought in his head. Just like that, the ghouls attempting to get him began tumbling over, breaking the remains of their bodies. The ones still moving began vomiting up their guts, like some kind of cheap Fatality.
Flesh-Eater landed hard, looked around, and saw the three had taken care of their encounter down here. "Guud jaab," it told them. "Now we need to get going to TechnoDyne Building. These sewers move under it, and I can destroy the floor for use to get in."

"Not so fast," a voiced echoed from the corner of the tunnel, and then stepped out a slender shadowed figure, emitting a burning scent of cooked flesh. The being had brown skin, clearly looked human, and also had the signature black scelra, orange iris look ghouls had. The person was wearing gas-mask, but only the lower half, and along with that...torn up garterbelts? Like some strange bondage fetish character mixed with a brown zombie, this was one ugly son of a bitch.

"And who are you?" questioned Flesh-Eater.

"Your murderer!"

"Hmm...not scary."

The brown ghoul's forearms then sprouted large, sharpened bones, and it dashed to cut Flesh-Eater. Barely moving from it's spot, Flesh-Eater did a short dodge, then grabbed the being with one of it's arms, then slamming it on it's leg to break it's back. The electrical gauntlets then emitted and shocked the ghoul into a coma, and Flesh-Eater tossed it towards the wall.

–––––––––––––––––––––––––
At the TechnoDyne building, a ghoul with cockroach wings entered the building, observing the carnage. "Yes, it should be here..." it thought. It began walking through the areas, looking for it's object of interest. Accompanied by it were 3 mosquito men ghouls. It motioned them to take separate hallways to find whatever the heck they were looking for.

<Sewers>

Tayne: "Nice work, gang."

Crikey: "Guess we're all on the same side against these damn ghouls."

Tayne: "Yeah. Now, we're finally all Ghool Slaiyers in this Malignant™ time."

Crikey and Tayne moved around the sewers with Flesh-Eater and Fraser, hoping to find their way to TechnoDyne Industries. Suddenly, a white human seemed to appear in front of them. He was wearing an olive green button-down, blue jeans, an orange backpack, and a camera whose strap was slung around his neck. He looked desperate, and cried out to the group. His voice was deep, with a blend of an Indian and British accent. Strangely enough, words did not always match his lip movements.

???: "Oh my, where am I? I was in a magical place, so clean! Space India is really beautiful, and so cultured! And it has so many white servants! Oh, please, please, let me return to Space Hyderabad, Space Hyderabad please! I have rupees, Indian money."

Crikey: "RUPEES?!"

Crikey was fascinated by this proposition, but the others were skeptical.

???: "Oh, let me take a picture of my new heroes!"

He aimed his camera at the group, when suddenly someone else shouted 'Nah!' The lost tourist was taken aback, and looked towards the other newcomer, who was a brown-skinned man with a beard and short hair. He was wearing a baggy white T-shirt and special pants that seemed to be protecting him from any fungal infections. Flesh-Eater recognized him as someone who looked shockingly similar to Alex, former apprentice of Sinjon Wol. However, the group was cautious over the possibility of him being a ghoul attempting to fool them all.

Alex: "I'm Alex. I'm gonna tell you real stuff like I always do. You may not believe in it, but the dilemma is this: Who the HECK you gonna trust?"

Tayne and Crikey looked around, uncertain of what to do next. One of the newcomers was a shapeshifting ghoul, while the other would be a new companion. They couldn't both be ghouls, otherwise they would have both attacked already.

Crikey: "The guy with a lot of money is legit."

Tayne: "No, Alex is!"

Character Sheet:

Not a second after the shell had left Lucy’s shotgun a thunderous rumble sounded behind her. Lucy and Ophelia swung about, searching for the source of the sound, but were met with nothing but silence and the patter of rain. Lucy sighted down the shotgun, a bead of sweat forming on her brow. From the mist and the rain came a deep chuckle which rolled, as thunder, into a booming tirade of laughter. Lucy pinpointed the noise, looking up at the blasted façade of the TechnoDyne building. Atop a destroyed support pillar, a figure stood solitary, wrapped in a thick black tarpaulin. Lightning flashed in the sky behind the figure, casting it as a silhouette. Lucy gulped, her mouth dry. She could taste ozone permeating the very air around her. The figure was huge, but grew bigger as it stood; it had been crouching before, but now it stood at least 7 feet tall, and half that wide.

“They sent a girl after me. I’m offended,” the figure boomed in all baritone bass. Lucy snarled, but before she could offer a retort, the figure pounced, leaving the pillar in a flash and a flurry of canvas tarpaulin. It landed directly in front of Lucy, spraying moisture from the soaked ground up high into the air. As the droplets fell once again, mingling with the rain, Lucy caught sight of a chiselled, brutish face and deep set ice-blue eyes. He drew himself up straight, towering over Lucy even from 12 metres distant. “I’d be lying if I said I was anything other than disgusted by… you. But here we are… Shall we begin?”

Lucy’s lips furled, revealing sharp canine teeth. “Who the hell are you, scrub?”

The figure began to laugh, but cut the rising note short with a stare that almost bore through Lucy there and then. “I’m the apex predator. I am War’s Magnum Opus. I am a weapon.”

Lucy snorted. “So you’re the ultimate warrior, huh?”

“Not just the ultimate warrior. I am the warrior to surpass all those who have ever stepped foot on the battlefield. Project Heyerdahl; David Dalton!” With that, Dalton threw off the tarpaulin, revealing his naked body. Every inch of his immaculate musculature glowed a hazy shade of blue, almost as if bioluminescent. Lucy stepped back, shocked at the sudden movement, but Dalton made no move to attack; he merely stood, admiring the veins of his own arm, holding his fist skywards.

“Jeez, you’ve really got some kind of complex, scrub. I know guys like you; they’re all a pain in the ass.”

“There are two kinds of pain in this world, girl. The first is the pain of a noble beast wounded, yet not weakened, by its hunter. It spurs you forward, makes you stronger - faster - rising up! That power! The legacy of a man who has seen and faced adversity and come out from it a superior! And then there is that pain which is pure suffering. The useless pain that I once knew. The useless pain that makes you weak and weary, beaten and bloody, as you soon shall be - for you see, Lucy;

I have no patience for useless things."

Dalton slammed the fist he had held on high down into the floor, an explosion of blue light ripping forth toward Lucy. The light struck her with the force of a lightning bolt, and she was thrown across the courtyard, smashing into a pile of rubble, her clothes smouldering. A line of blue flame traced her flight across the floor, the flames guttering out in the downpour. Lucy stirred, her head spinning. She pulled herself halfway out of the debris before a massive foot impacted her, crushing her chest and pummelling her back into the concrete and metalwork of the collapsed façade. Lucy’s world went black, and she could taste blood. She tried rolling, but Dalton’s foot was still there, pressing down on her. She felt the last air in her lungs escape in a series of ragged gasps, and then she felt her chest compress. A rib popped, left side, fourth down. Liquid filled her lungs as the pressure increased. Her eyes felt like they were about to pop out of her head, and she could feel her spine grating against rusted rebar, a wash of blood soaking her lower back. The pressure mounted incrementally, and Lucy gargled a scream, and then the foot was removed and Lucy screamed proper. Her world was pain, searing through every fibre of her body. She pulled in air in vast gulps, expanding her crushed chest. Her mind was racing, spiralling out of control. Darkness tinged her vision, but a red haze of bloodlust was creeping in at the periphery. She reached up out of the crater her body had formed, clutching at the air, looking for a handhold. Instead, a hand grabbed her wrist, dragging her out by force. She dangled in front of Dalton, blood streaming down her face from a cut above one eye. He peered into that eye with his ice blue stare before throwing her, much as an infant would a rag doll, across the courtyard. She landed on the cobbles using her chin, which fragmented as she tumbled to a stop in a puddle. Lucy groaned, rolled over and hacked up a half cup of blood.

“You’ll have to do better than that to get rid of me, scr-“ A wildly powerful kick whipped out at Lucy and it was all she could do to raise an arm, which promptly snapped in half, spraying blood over Dalton’s leg as she shot away, skidding across the courtyard. She tried to arrest her speed, but only succeeded in tearing all the nails from her right hand; she came to a stop when a jutting prong of rebar impaled her back and erupted from her belly like a xenos hatchling. Lucy screamed again, but that was a result of the thousands of volts flowing through her body. Dalton was walking toward her, and every step he took sent a bolt of electricity coursing across the floor, skittering and igniting puddles as it flooded toward Lucy. The behemoth warrior smirked as he neared her.

“Oh, I’m just getting started.”

Post by JS Mon Dec 07, 2015 11:11 pm

A local noble, by the name of Samuel Tock Malychar, was riding by the TechnoDyne building with his wife, in their special horse-drawn carriage drawn by plague-proof robot horses. He was completely unaware of the surrounding apocalypse, but was surprised to see a giant naked man beating up a teenage girl. He began to spasm with fear when he recognized the naked man as an acquaintance he had once known, and leant towards the window, gazing at him.

"It is the man himself!" he said, impotent with fear. "Look! He's grown young!"

Meanwhile, Lucy roared out in agony as over 9,000 volts of energy coursed through her body. David closed in, grinning. He placed both hands on the rebar pipe, sending energy flowing directly through it. The wall behind her exploded as the voltage ran through it, and she fell backwards, sliding off the pipe and landing on her back. The pipe turned to white-hot metal in his hands and he used it as a sword, swinging it towards her as she slid backwards against the muddy surface below. He stabbed towards her, and she raised her forearm to block it. It slid through the center of her arm - she roared out in pain, but was able to pull it away from him, throwing it out into the distance. He chuckled at the futility of her move, and drove his foot into her stomach again. Her chest jerked upwards as she gasped in pain, at which point he drove his foot into the underside of her jaw hard enough to snap her neck. She fell back limply into the mud, no longer motioning away from him, a sickening gargle sounding from the recesses of her throat.

"I keep hurting you, and you keep regenerating. It's like tantalizing torture!" he roared, pacing around the immediate area, looking for something to stab her with. Lucy let out a deep gasp as her neck healed, and air was once again allowed to flow into her lungs.

"It's not like tantalizing torture at all! It's just straight up torture!"

"And aren't you stronger for that pain?" he said, reaching down and picking up a hammer. He walked over to her, forcing the rear side of it down towards her eye as fast as he could. She narrowly rolled out the way, kicking upwards towards his head. He stumbled back, momentarily stunned, as she climbed to her feet.

"Run, Lucy, Run!" roared Samuel Malychar, firing wildly at David from a nearby rooftop with a P90. David chuckled as the rounds bounced harmlessly off his body - one or two of them even being deflected into lucy. She took the advantage and turned, running. Even she wasn't going to stick around for this fight. David looked up to Malychar, and raised an outstretched palm. Samuel turned to run, but it was too late. He screamed as the buttons of his coat were pulled, magnetically, through his torso and towards David's hand. His P90, too, flew away from him, and as he fell to the ground, curling into a ball, even the iron in his bones and blood was pulled from his body, tearing him apart. All this magnetic material was compressed by extreme gravity to a tiny ball, about the size of a ball bearing, hovering just off the surface of David's hand. He turned, aiming his hand towards Lucy, and fired the ball with his electromagnetic powers.

It cut clean through the back of her skull, and out of the front of her face, taking her right eye with it. She jerked forwards, lifted off the ground by the kinetic energy, before slamming into the mud face-first, motionless.

David chuckled, clenching his fist. "I expected more of a challenge from a cherished pawn of Sefer." he said, jumping up and onto the rooftop where Malychar lay. The young man looked on in horror as the titan approached, and tried to weakly crawl away.

"Dalton! Please!" he roared. David picked him up by the collar, and held him over the ledge of the roof. "No, please-"

"You know what they say about lightning, don't you, kid?"

Malychar's eyes widened in horror as Dalton grinned.

"It always takes the fastest route to the ground!" he said, dropping him to the ground below. He laughed as the young man fell, powerless to save himself.

<Sewers>

Brendan Fraser was absolutely shocked. He had been attacked by nightmarish ghouls, confronted by monstrous English-speaking aliens, and discovered a life-changing secret about himself all within the span of a few minutes. His body was moving on autopilot alongside his new alien acquaintances through this dark underground sewer, while his human brain struggled to process all this new information. Eventually, he came to the realization that the aliens he was walking with were not hostile to him, because if they were, he would be dead already. He decided to just continue following them, since they could lead him to shelter.

When Alex and the tourist seemingly appeared out of thin air in front of him, Fraser only caught two parts of their dialogue; specifically the parts about "white servants" and there being a question of trust. The part about servants made Fraser have a flashback to when he saw wealthy Hollywood executives abuse their employees and treat them like unpaid servants. The first chapter in his life of JUST.

No... never again, Fraser thought. NEVER AGAIN!

And so, Fraser stepped forward, stretched both his arms out towards Alex, and channeled the JUST within. Within moments, all of the JUST moments in Alex's life came back to haunt him: When he had too much curry and had to defecate in an non-designated street, when his HS crush rejected him, and when he witnessed his son's first words: "fatass ugle shutthafuqup", to name a few.

Emotionally devastated, Alex, whether he be ghoul or man, felt diarrhoea coming on. He pulled down his pantaloons and DESIGNATED the sewer wall, to the disgust of everyone else.

Fraser lowered his hands and stopped using his power, he had sufficiently humiliated the newcomer. However, there was still the question of whether he was an ally or enemy. Fraser figured he'd let one of the others approach Alex to ask him, since the stench was powerful even from Fraser's distance.

OOS: Originally, the tourist was going to be the ghoul, but I have a better idea now, lolololol.

"Alex" screamed and transformed back into a ghoul, the JUST energies revealing his true nature. It seems that the real former apprentice of Sinjon was still missing.

The overwhelming power of getting JUST'd is so great that some cannot take it. Faux-lex disintegrated after humiliating himself. The ghoul's final thoughts before entering the next life were all the HARRIBLE memories before he was infected.

The tourist shook his head while cracking a smile and whispering "gosh" to himself. He reached out to shake the hands of everyone near him.

Character Sheet:

Tourist: "My name is Too R. Isst! Look at this place, it's so postmodern!"

He then took various photos of the areas around him, including one of Brendan Fraser.

Too R. Isst: "So cultured!"

Crikey: "So, what happens now?"

Tayne: "We finish this once and for all. I hear some commotion above us. We better get a move on."

Too R. Isst: "I will follow!"

"Somethings never change," thought the Trilagon. "Everyone, we need to get going. That caricature can be left behind. There's no need for the questions. He's already dead with that leakage in these parts." The Trilagon started moving through the sewers again, no hecks given if the others followed him. Fraser, Tayne, and Crikey looked around and weren't sure if they should follow.

"I'm going to the TechnoDyne building, if you know where that's at. That's my mission here, not a rescue mission. Though you all seem to be reverse-collaterals, in this case."

------------------------------------
Never made a character sheet for my guy yet, what a huge oversight.
Name and Aliases: "The Kraken"
Species: Trilagon
Appearance: Like most Trilagon, trilateral symmetry with 3 legs and six arms, mouth ontop, and eyes on each side, and 30 feet tall. It's colors are indigo, with white and black stripes over the body, basically, very similar to this, though it's more than likely this one is able to switch colors
Personality: Like most Trilagons, The Kraken gets straight the point with little speak except instructions to get from Point A to Point B.
Affiliations: None, a hired gun most of the time.
Abilities: Extremely fast, ambidextrous, 360º Vision, natural electric-producing cells, the majority of it's ability to kill things effectively are nothing more than genetics.
Equipment: Notable for wearing full-body armor that it binded to it's skin cell reactions, this includes color-shifting and the electric cells, but amplified. Has several weapons in the armor too, after all, it is an assassin
Relations(if relevant): Nothing, infact it is a heretic to the churches of the Trilagon for forsaking their religion to learn culture itself.

Brendan Fraser gave himself an imaginary pat on the back. He was right about The Kraken being able to lead him to shelter. It didn't seem like The Kraken particularly wanted him coming along, but Fraser wasn't going to give the alien a choice. He could just JUST him if he turned nasty, after all.

As the sewer tunnel got darker, Fraser remembered his cellphone, stored safely in his backpack. It was pretty much useless for communication on Oquro due to the absence of phone networks, but it still made a half-decent light source. As soon as Fraser pressed a button on his phone, it lit up, displaying the date and the remaining battery charge. Wanting to remind himself of something else familiar, Fraser briefly went through his contact list. Drake Bell, Jonah Hill, and Jake Lloyd were just some of the names that came up. He wondered if he would ever see them at Actors Anonymous again.

"What're you waiting for? Come on, you'll miss all the excitement!" Too R. Isst shouted to Fraser from up ahead. Fraser gave a pained smile and followed.

Crikey: "We'll follow you."

Tayne caught up with Too R. Isst, while Crikey stayed behind with Fraser. The crocodile-like alien taunted the celebrity.

Crikey: "Ravioli, ravioli, got to pay the alimony."

Tayne: "Shut up, Crikey."

A ghoul leaped at them from the shadows, but Tayne was quick to shoot it in the head and kill it instantly. At this point, he was becoming accustomed to these monsters appearing out of nowhere.

Too: "Wow! So skilled!"

He took several awkward pictures of Tayne as they moved on. Once the group arrived near their makeshift entrance, Crikey turned to The Kraken, and spat out a question in a rude fashion

Crikey: "What now?"

Tayne: "Don't be so #rude. What is next, my Trilagon friend?"

"We're going to break into the TechnoDyne building. It's likely on lockdown there from the outbreak, but they have some very important objects I need to acquire." The group went silent, with some nods from Crikey and Tayne. Too R. Ist was just so excited at the bloody genocide going on here, that he ecstatically took pictures of the decomposing and mangled corpses on the way. Fraser was quite freaked out by this man, but he KNEW that if he tried anything, he could fuck his shit up.
Surprisingly, there was no more Ghouls to find on the way there in the sewers, as if somebody else had went through and cleaned up the area. "So fascinating!" said Mr. Rist.

"So, a question," said Brendan Fraser. "Crikey and Tayne, what exactly did you two want to capture me for? I'm a dead man either way, I came here to escape the universe, not help it!"

"And we're two guys trying to make a living. Listen, we're not going to try and get you anymore. Us all living is more important than us all dying. The bounty for you is good alive," replied Tayne.

"Yeah, and maybe following good ol three legs here will get us more money than you'll ever be worth," remarked Crikey

"Shut it, Crikey."

"Ayy man, I'm just saying. Breaking into a giant corporations head quarters on a planet in the middle of nowhere, who knows what they've been experimenting with."

"He's right, you know," said Fraser. "Wherever, I go JUST will follow, and JUST experiments are worth quite a bit on the secondary market."

The group reached a spot at the tunnels where Kraken stopped. "This is it," it stated. Kraken pulled out it's electronic device, loading up a holographic map. The group were directly under the TechnoDyne building. Kraken motioned all of them to move back. It then had hooks come out of each of it's arms. Kraken reached up with it's arms to the ceiling, connecting the hooks to the ceiling. Using all of it's strength, it ripped out the ceiling to create a direct path to the building.

"Wow, simply fantastic!" Too began taking pictures of the wreckage, and the others ignored him.

"Nothing subtle about this, huh?" asked Tayne.

"We are on a dying world, being subtle is not an objective. Anyone we find is either dead or will help us."

"I like this thing's attitude, it's a real breadwinner," commented Crikey.

"Everyone, climb over me to get inside," stated Kraken.

The team did so, and all got into the remainder of the room. Kraken propelled itself upwards with a jump into the room.

"So, what exactly are we looking for here?" asked Fraser.

"All the data for what happened to this world, it should be in one of the computers. I don't expect anyone to still be alive in here. Be on the lookout for any ghouls. My GPS indicates several moving organic objects in this building, alive and moving." Kraken slowly opened the door to the hallways, noticing a carnage around the room, clearly caused by something else. "Clearly something more powerful than Ghouls came through here. Perhaps they infected something bigger, or were TechnoDyne doing something else here?" questioned Kraken.

< TechnoDyne Building>

At that moment, the wall to the room Kraken and the others stood in was blown apart, showering the party in dust and rubble. Lucy shot from the plume, colliding with Kraken and bouncing to the floor, where she jerked and groaned before heaving up a considerable amount of bile and blood. Through the new hole in the wall climbed Dalton, the thin layer of dust on the floor being lifted by the static electricity his mere presence generated. He looked the group up and down, before grinning at Kraken, motioning with one hand and settling into a wrestler's stance.

"Come On!"

Tayne: "What to heck?!"

He leaped in front of David Dalton, raising his arms up in an attempt to slow him down.

Tayne: "Take it easy!"

Crikey reached for his weapon and aimed it at Dalton.

Crikey: "Yeah, don't try it! What the hell is a non-ghoul doing here?"

Too R. Isst: "Incredible power...and look! There are more!"

He rushed over to where Lucy was, and offered to help her.

<TechnoDyne Building>

The very second the wall exploded, Brendan Fraser instinctively ran for cover in an adjacent corridor, leaving the Kraken, Crikey, Tayne and Rist behind. Unfortunately, as soon as he turned the corner, he slipped on a discarded metal pipe, causing him to fall flat on his face. When he lifted himself off the carpeted floor and looked up, he saw that the way was blocked anyway: the ceiling had caved in at some point, filling the rest of the corridor with debris. The only way was back.

Fraser reluctantly turned around and peeked back into the room he had fled from. His bloodshot eyes widened in amazement upon seeing the formidable David Dalton and feeling the waves of Dalton's power ripple over him. Fraser sensed that Dalton had incredible confidence, an attribute that likely granted him increased resistance to the forces of JUST. Fraser felt powerless once more, yet for some reason, Dalton did not intimidate him. That might be because Fraser himself once had a physique rivalling Dalton's (at least in his mind), and so did his best friend, so Dalton reminded him of him. He decided that he would sit this battle out.

"Ah... Gino. I wonder what you're doing now, old friend." Fraser thought to himself.
