OKAY LET'S GET THIS STARTED AND HOPE WE'RE IN THE RIGHT CHUNK OF FORUM!
YEAH!
Okay figured I'd live up to my title. Right.
WEBCOMICS. I read too many. Sooo recs and reviews. IDK Fridayish sound good to you peeps? Fridays it is. Some of these are going to be more obscure than others. I'll just go off my read list and worry about finding new ones when that runs out. Which will take awhile : P
Funny thing is the first one I wanna do UPDATES on Fridays. Wow!
It's called Prequel (or Making a Cat Cry: The Adventure)
First Page Home Page/Newest Page About Page
Updates: Fridays, fairly reliably. Updates are long. Also possible to view part of update in advance on the MSPAforums.
Format: it's one of the "MS Paint Adventures" inspired comics. Panel, words, panel, words. It's also follows the format of early MSPA things such as Jailbreak! or Problem Sleuth in that it's possible for readers to submit prompts.
Art: Flat colored digital. Not jaw droppingly gorgeous, but it's getting extremely adorable as time goes by. Even at the beginning it's not eye-gougingly ugly. Functional.
Writing: Seems pretty good to me? Engaging story, large walls of text, No egregrious grammar errors.
Setting: In the world of Elder Scrolls, but it's totally unneccessary to have played the games for comprehension. (It's in Cyrodiil specifically)
Genre: Uh...fantasy with humor, character based. Really funny but at the same time may well make you have FEELINGS. (ono) Overall it's a story about hope and keeping your head up. Or maybe it's just about torturing a cat person. Whatever works.
Rating: PG13? No uncensored nakey people or extreme gore (I don't think???) but some mature topics. Some blood.
Archive Length: Mid lengthish? Enough there to be reading material for a few days (or a night depending), but not a several week long endeavor.
Completeness: Well the 'plot' is just starting to really get kicked off. I think it's still got a long ways to go before finishing.
Okay following stuffs is under spoiler tags because it's stuff you'd only know from reading the comic. If you're interested from the above stuff check it out with the links or keep reading :3

- STORY OR SOMETHING IDK:
Basically all the action centers around Katia, an alcoholic khajit (cat furry) who has the worst luck in the world. She's been plagued by crippling nightmares about royalty since she was small which led to her family having to stop working in a castle and move to the country. They resent her for this. Her only real goal in life was to be a wizard, but for whatever reason Katia seems to have no magic power to speak of.
This has led to the adult Katia being a total bum. She has no real saleable skills (except for a NSFW party trick), survives by a combination of sleeping around, gettng arrested, and generally hoping for the best. She moves to Cyrodiil with nothing but the rags on her back in hopes of turning her life around. This...goes about as well as you'd expect. Every time Katia makes a step forward she rolls back down a landing of stairs.
Even if she does get any material possessions she gets robbed. Someone tries to send her a nice present they get murdered (and the gift stolen en route). She has a sandwich it gets thrown on the ground. Et cetera. Things do SLOWLY get better for Katia though. She (sorta) makes friends, she learns she DOES have magic power (even if it's uncontrollable), she even learns some non skanky skills!
The "plot" is starting to emerge as Katia trying to figure out just what is behind the nightmares about kings she's had her whole life.
