Alex crossed his arms and said nothing for a moment, then shrugged. "Pretty much that...I have nothing more to say on this really."

He looked at the Were-hyena, trying to guess how little he would trust her.

Tarantino sighed, then turned back to the weres. "Come on. Get in." He waved them towards his house.

(OOS: Klak, do I control these weres now, or are you going somewhere with this?)

Felicia rests her hands on the box, "Consider the contents of this box 'Open in case of Emergency' while my son is in your care. He has a condition that puts life at risk if it isn't closely controlled. He knows how to control it, and what to do, but if, for what ever reason, he has an attack, open the box, instructions are on the lid. Please do not open unless necessary."

Virgil looks to Felicia momentarily, then remains silent.

OOS: I've got them.

Ezekiel was halfway to his house. Suddenly, a thought burst into his mind. He quickly turned around and began running towards the Tarantino estate.

Those weren't the weres he was going to sell to Tarantino.

All three lizards shook their heads at Tarantino defiantly.

Zaizi literally bit her tongue to hold back a snide remark. Controlling her tone, she said, "I want to make up for what I've done. I'll do all that I can to adjust my behavior. Thank you. You have done such a wonderful thing for my family." She blinked rapidly a few times. "I'll follow orders to the letter, or die trying."

Roza looks at Zaizi "Blue will teach you how to act like a were. I trust her. She knows more about it then me." She looks at Blue and Alex. "What should the next step be? Is there anything that needs to be done or anything?" She takes another sip of tea and sets it on the table and leans back in the chair.

Scrunching up her face Blue contemplated the ceiling. "Umm, there's something I'm forget-Oh right!" Her eyes widened before narrowing again as she snapped her fingers. She leaned against a wall shoving her hands in her pockets. "There's another vampire I wanted to pick up. Should we do that before or after getting Zaizi's village settled to your satisfaction, Miss Rose?"

Chrysalis gravely took the box. "You trust me far more than most would consider wise old friend. Will that be all?"

Roza looks at Zaizi, "Send a message to the village. Blue we can go see the other vampire. I don't mind. The weres can keep an eye on estate. Wen is the best time to head out?" She pours Blue some tea as well as Alex and Zaizi. She places the pot down and takes another sip.

Alex looked up at Blue's words. "Another Vampire? You are entirely sure this addition is on our side? We can't risk being reported before we've even set up." He was uncomfortable, as the risk of having something like this discovered before they were ready would tear down any chances of success for the foreseeable future...which for vampires could easily be a whole millennium or more, given vampiric longevity.

Blue raised an eyebrow. "More sure than I am of you. He's been my friend for several years, with me in the guise of a vampire of course. At the very least I have enough blackmail to make things very bad for him if he tried to expose us. As for not getting started...people have been planning this particular attempt at a coup for a very long time."

Tarantino sighed. New arrivals were always defiant. He turned around, went back into the house, and returned brandishing a knife.

"Get inside." he said again to the weres.

The weres shook their heads again. One shook his fist angrily.

"NO!" he screamed, loudly.

((three cheers for anyone who gets that reference))

Ezekiel arrived just in time, crashing into one of the weres on the side. The lizard who spoke turned, and hissed.

"More vampires to kill!"

Ezekiel shook his head. This was going to be a real piece of cake.

"We're already dead, you idiot."

Ezekiel swung his sword towards the were, who jumped out of the way at the last minute, hissing angrily.

Alex tilted his head, looking at Blue with more curiosity than he cared to admit. "Is that so? I generally try to keep on top of these things...must have slipped through the cracks, so to speak."

"What in the hell....." Tarantino muttered. He then slashed at a were's back with his knife.

The lizard were screamed in pain. Its violent screech caused Ezekiel to stumble back.

The reptilian collapsed to the floor, dying.

Ezekiel nodded, "Thanks, old timer."

He charged at another were, stabbing his sword into him, killing him almost immediately.

There remained only one were.

"Tarantino, I suggest interviewing this lone were."

"I was going to do just that." Tarantino said. He put his knife to the were's throat, and said "Who sent you?"

Blue sniffed at Alex. "Of course you haven't. Of the very few that were aware of the plan, none of them would have dreamed of letting a hint of its existence slip to a damn leech. And unless you're a LOT older than you seem to be it's been in motion since well before you were alive." I'd be worried if you had known. Of course since things are actually starting now it is necessary for aspects of it to be known.

The lizard spat out words like venom.

"I'll never tell you, vampire scum."

Ezekiel silently chuckled.

"No need to resort to that, were. Who is your master?"

"We have no master!" said the were, proudly. "We are free! And someday, all weres will be!"

Ezekiel's eyes narrowed upon the mention of freedom. This was problematic. But for some reason....never mind.

"Dream on, son of Morpheus. What should we do with this scaley scum, Tarantino? He does not wish to speak."

Tarantino chuckled. "I know how to deal with vermin like this."

He lowered his knife, and stepped away from the were. "You will surrender your secrets." He then suddenly stabbed the were in the knee.

The were screamed in agony.

"You are lucky you have weapons crafted for use against us! Otherwise....ugh...I would have snapped you in two!"

Ezekiel shook his head and said, "Kill him, Tarantino. He's not going to speak."

"I'd rather die in defiance," the were exclaimed, coughing.

A twisted smile appeared on Tarantino's face. "You want to die? Not yet."

He ripped the knife out of the were's knee, and stabbed it into his thigh. "Before you die, you're gonna regret your defiance."

The were grunted and yelled in pain. He looked up at Tarantino, and gave a toothy smile. He then spat onto Tarantino's shirt.

"I'll never regret that. In this life, or the next."

Ezekiel shook his head, and walked over to one of the other bodies.

I shouldn't be doing this, he thought to himself, as he grabbed the corpse and began to feed on whatever blood was left.

Tarantino smiled again. "Then I will at least have the satisfaction of knowing you died the way you deserve." He then stabbed the were in the chest.

Alex looked at Blue, simply staring at her for a moment before saying. "I may not be old, but my family had a very established intelligence network long before I was born. Being the last one of my line lets me acess it completely, and I have gotten plans for revolutions generations before they were actually put into motion...even if no vampire knew of it."

He shrugged, then sat down. "Like I said though, I'm the last of my line, so things slip through the cracks a lot now..." He stared off into space, lost in his mind again, a frown on his face.

The were screamed in pain, and smiled.

"I deserved...you getting....your hands dirty."

He slumped over, and died.

Ezekiel cleared his throat, and walked over to Tarantino.

"Well, Tarantino, sorry about that. The ones I was supposed to sell to you didn't come yet. Apparently these snuck in. I've heard about this tactic before. Rebels sneak into sales and then attempt to kill their vampire masters. I hope we can still make a deal."

Tarantino ripped out the knife, spat on the were's corpse, then slowly turned to Ezekiel.

"I know. I've seen this happen before. They never talk, and no one ever learns if they're working on their own or taking orders from someone." he said. "That needs to change. And you're going to help me."

Felicia gets up and hands Chrysalis the box, leaning in and whispering, "More along the lines that I don't want you and yours getting hurt by mine." Returning to Virgil, she puts on a smile, "Alright Virgil, play nice, clean yourself up after your experiments."

Escorting the trio to the door, she adorns a coat and sets out herself.

Ezekiel shook his head.

"I'm....not a big fan of crusades. Unless you have any leads, I'm not touching your search for any organized were rebellions with a ten foot pole. There are more important things to think about than the fantasies of beasts."

That was the dumbest thing Ezekiel ever said.

OOC: Yes it took me about 40 years but here it is so shut up and read this crappy intro so that your amazing characters can interact with this 7ft hot female bear were thing.

“I want to go there!” The small vampire child yells up at Yi as he points deeper into the forest.
“But remember, daddy told you not to go anywhere near here...” Yi replies softly as she struggles to crouch down to the child's level, trying not to give the child any excuse to tell his father to punish her once again.
“But I -want- to!” The vampire child does not seem convinced as he painfully tugs on one of Yi's dreadlocks. Yi winces, but stays calm. “Okay, we can go a little further in, but then it's time to go home.” Yi is exhausted. She has had to take care of the child for the whole week this week, as his mother is out on “business”.

They travel further into the forest, the child making sure to make this as annoying as possible. “Hit down that tree!” “Kill that deer!” “Dig a hole!” Yi sighed as she very reluctantly made a path of destruction for a small child's amusement. “Alright. It's time to go home now.” Yi said exhaustedly, trying to clean her claws.
“No! No! I want mother to come!” The child screamed. Something sparked in Yi's mind, as she thought of doing something that she would never even started to think of doing before. Ignoring all thoughts of what would come of her actions, Yi shifts into full beast form, not giving a single glance back as she uses her powerful paws to leap her way deeper into the forest and into freedom. She runs until the sounds of the child screaming can no longer be heard.

After resting for a while, Yi shifts back and chooses to wonder through the forest, trying to find some sort of clearing.

Blue looked around distractedly. "Like I said. Only a handful of people have ever known before now. None of which who'd talk to a vampire..."

Her tail starts twitching around. "Anyway, we really need to get a move on already. Don't want the revolution to start without us!" She let out a small laugh.

As they exit Chrysalis raises a finger and shoots up a fountain of red sparks. A few seconds after her signal, the great golden eagle dives and lands in front of them. "Alright. Pan, lizard form."

The girl blinked slowly and shifted into a large black lizard which Chrysalis picked up and draped over her shoulders. The claws could find purchase on her cloak if the owner so desired.

So arranged Chrysalis climbed onto Viranus. "Behind me Virgil. Fare well Felicia. Hopefully it won't be so long before our next meeting."

Roza nods and stand up and walks over to Blue. "Then lets go." She smiles and looks up at Blue to figure out were they will be heading.

"Alright let's go! Time's a wastin'! We can forage on the way for supplies!" With that hastily spoken sentence Blue ran out of the estate and into the surrounding forest. At the edge she waited for the others.

Alex followed.

Roza grabs a small bottle and runs out the door following Alex which is following Blue.

Felicia bids her friend farewell and Virgil carefully mounts the bird as instructed, "Now will be a splendid time to find out if I am afraid of heights."

Blue pauses and listens around. "I'd say head out and visit one of my friends...but I hear something crashing around." She ran a bit deeper into the woods and spotted some broken branches and squashed plants and stuff. "I wonder what ran through here? Most people wouldn't cause this kind of destruction.

Chrysalis smirked. "Splendid. Would you like a spell for the fear, or would you rather suffer?"

Roza follows blue and looks at the broken branches closely to see if there are any traces of fur or cloth. She keeps her eyes open in case something pops out from no where. She puts the bottle in her pocket and looks close again ten walks over to Blue. "I don't see any clues of who or what went through there." She thinks for a moment.

Virgil grins widely, "Ill endure. Fear teaches what must be overcome. Only by facing fear is it defeated. Though I may shriek in terror, I will be fine."

Tarantino frowned at Ezekiel. "Very well. I'll find leads. And then you'll help me eliminate whatever's behind this." he said. "Do we have a deal?"

Ezekiel paused. This idea was...dangerous. Not to mention the nagging feeling he was getting about giving his word to Tarantino.

Of all people in the planet, Ezekiel should be the last to-

"If we're talking about this rebellion, deal," he said.

...Never mind.

"Hmm..." Blue's ears perked up. "AH! I hear it!"

She bolted and came across a large woman with bear paws industriously digging for roots. "Hello random werebear! Who are you?" Blue called out.

"Music to my ears. UP BOY!" Chrysalis patted the side of her eagle and he lifted off flying until the ground was a distant memory.

Yi looks behind herself quickly, still kneeling down. "Oh! Hello. My name's Yi." She smiles, completely oblivious to the fact that she should probably not trust the weird woman who just approached from out of nowhere.

She gets up, ineffectively trying to dust off her leather armour with her dirty paws.

Blue laughed. "I'm Blue." She fished a clean cloth out of one of the bags attached to her belt and handed it to Yi. "Here. All you're managing now is to smear the dirt around."

Roza walks up behind Blue as she puts her hood up and sees Yi. She smiles and looks at Yi "Hello I am Rose. It's nice to meet you." She makes sure her horns are not seen as she looks between Blue and Yi.

General kindness shown towards her shocks Yi to some extent, but she smiles and accepts the cloth all the same. "T-Thank you." She attempts to clean up her leather armour with the cloth, looking over at Roza.
"Hello~" Yi bows awkwardly.

As the bird ascends, Virgil finds himself laughing instead of screaming, enjoying the flight instead of fearing for his life, "I never knew flight could be this enjoyable!"

Alex walks up to the group, having fallen behind as Blue and Rose bounded through the forest. Coming to a stop, he eyed the Were for a moment, before finally muttering a quiet "Hello"

Inside his mind he was wondering just why in the nine hells all master-less weres kept showing up in this forest, specifically to their rapidly growing group.

Throughout the whole trip, Zaizi hadn't said a word. She didn't even comment on meeting Yi. Rather, she trailed a ways behind the group at all times.

Seeing the rapidly dirtying state of her rag Blue blinks. "Um, you can keep that if you want. You look good in a fight. Want to join our quest to overthrow the vampiric hegemony?"

Chrysalis' expression smoothed into one less cruel than her usual. "Indeed! Few things beat flying on the back of a bird!"

Flying over the land, Virgil looks over the side of the bird and watches as the land slides by, bemused, "the world seems so small from this height, but so large from my home. Perspective is always refreshing."
