here's to firsts:
Just installed it and decided to try to make a volcanic planet.
Fluff:
Ichidoor I, Minor Volcanic Planet.
Orbital average Distance: .43 A.U. from System Center of Orbit.
Orbital Period: 3 months
Rotational Period 82 days
Seismic Activity: Continuous, planet-wide
Between the sun and seismic activity , there is not one patch of planet older than 150 years, currently going through a "winter" in which slabs manage to form before being blasted off again during summer weeks
-Background kinda sucks, didn't remember too well how to do it right, that and the fact it installed in Spanish (which I'm kinda not totally good at translating to English) didn't help too much methinks....simply did noise->bright-contrast->noise two times, shoulda probably done 6-7 times to get it right...
-kinda happy with planet, started with cracked desert image from google, separated the cracks from the slabs, then passed each through a series of brightness/contrast and color balance filters. After that I sphereized it and put the two layers back together (there was a slight gap, but I positioned each layer to minimize it...dark side kinda helped as well
)
-Bitch of a time discovering where I'd dropped the Lens Flare effect, found at last.
Oh well, haven't used photoshope in probably close to 2.3 years...so I'm glad I didn't forget everything at least.
What do you guys think of it?
