Premise
The Continent of Mu is at war.
For centuries, the five countries of the Mu Alliance have lived in peace. However, a seemingly unfounded attack by Guranth - The largest country - On their neighbouring country of Arthaea has sent the entire continent into a tumult of opposing factions. You are a warrior of one of these five countries.
Will you fight to reunite the Mu Alliance? Will you become an opportunistic conqueror?
Your fate is entirely in your hands.

Setting
Mu
A continent of largely mild climate, Mu is surrounded by a dome of holy light that has served to protect them from demons who ransack the rest of the world. It is said that long ago, an unknown evil tried to invade Mu from beyond the veil of light protecting them. The heroes who fought to save Mu would go on to found the five countries of the Mu Alliance. Currently, all of Mu is at war with each other.
Arthaea
With pine forests and a cool climate, Arthaea is situated towards the northwest of the continent. Legends tell that Arthaea's first king was the leader of the heroes who saved Mu centuries ago. Arthaea was the first country that Guranth attacked for unknown reasons. Currently, their princess is being held captive and their prince is trying to rally forces to take back his country.
Guranth
Situated to the very north of Mu, Guranth is their largest nation; covered by mountain ranges and scrubland. According to the legends, their first king was actually the brother of Arthaea's first king. This irony only serves to exacerbate the tragic betrayal of Arthaea's trust in Guranth. Currently, Guranth is mounting an offensive on all other countries. Some sources tell that their princess is opposed to the war...
Jhennar
An entirely desert country, Jhennar's first queen was the lover of Arthaea's first king. As such, Jhennar has honored the Alliance and devoted their resources to assisting Arthaea's struggle against Guranth. Home of the finest steeds to be found anywhere, Jhennar is possessed of many great cavalry to ride horses, pegasi, or wyverns. Their princess has already taken flight to assist Arthaea's prince.
Cinota
Just south of Guranth, the peninsula of Cinota is the smallest country in Mu. Merchant hub of the continent, Cinota is surrounded by the ocean on three sides. As such, while they have ready access to fish for food and shipping lanes to the few island countries beyond the mainland to not be part of the Alliance, this also puts them in danger of pirate attacks. They have been forced to join Guranth's forces for safety.
Rauda
Situated to Guranth's southeast, Rauda is very mysterious for the rest of the Mu Alliance. Their first queen was a powerful mage and noted to be very unreadable to even the other heroes. Very little is known about Rauda other than that they are a theocracy and home to numerous powerful mages. Other than this, they have successfully kept out of the war thus far.
Gameplay Mechanics
Stats
A character's class decides their beginning stats. By leveling up or receiving certain weapons, you can boost your stats in specific ways. Each stat caps off at twenty before Promotion, and when your stats are boosted, the GM (Moi~ ) decides the numerical amounts.
Levels
When you battle in this RPG, you acquire a very rough version of Experience Points. When I feel it's right, your character levels up. The highest level you can reach is twenty. By Class Promotion, you start off at level one with slightly boosted stats from just before the Promotion, and continue leveling up.
Classes
Every character has a class. This decides what weapons they can use and what Class Skill they have. In addition, some classes are mounted cavalry, some cavalry can fly, and some have the advantage of using magic or magic and weapons. Once you get a class, you advance in levels to boost your stats. The only way you can change a character's class once it's been set is by Promotion.
Unique Classes
Some Storyline-Important Characters will have Unique Classes that your player cannot access. If you complete a special, random quest, you can earn the beginnings of your own Unique Class. To design a Unique Class, you have to decide on the beginning stats, if they're mounted, what they ride if mounted, one or two weapons, and whether they can use magic. If the class has two weapons or rides a flying unit, then they cannot use magic. In addition, you'll have to create a unique Class Skill.
Class Skills
Part of what makes it important to choose your starting class wisely and find good recruits to complement this is the mechanic of Class Skills. Each class has a Class Skill unique to them. This complements the weapon they use and can normally be activated at anytime in battle. However, some can only be activated while attacking or being attacked, and most simply alter Stats in some way.
Class Promotion
If you acquire an item called a Master Seal, receive a special weapon, or are present for a certain event, then you can enter a Class Promotion. Most classes can only Promote to one Advanced Class, but some classes share Promotions with each other, and some have a maximum of two choices. However, once you choose a Promotion, there's no going back. By Promoting, your character starts off at level one with slightly boosted stats from just before the Promotion. From there, you can level up to a max of twenty like before. In addition, the stats of Advanced Classes cap off at forty instead of twenty.
Shops
Almost everywhere you go, there will be shops to purchase supplies at. This can range from Armories, where you buy, sell, and forge weapons, to Magic Shops, where you buy spellbooks and charms. However, there will be no shops in the vicinity of castles, forts, and citadels.
Recruitment
Much like shops, most locations will have at least one random chance to recruit NPC allies. Usually, you can recruit new allies from villages - However, some enemy characters will join you if you choose to talk to them instead of outright attacking. As well, some NPCs will join outside of battle as volunteers.
